For a country, barely bigger then Chennai there’s so much to do, so much to see and so much to explore in this experience packed country!

A weekend at Singapore is a bit of wandering the streets of tanjong pagar, stumbling into the most quaint book store called Books Actually and rummaging through old editions of chinese poetry, easy steps to learn Mandarin, Singapore from the 1900’s and meeting a few rambunctious cats who think they really own the place.

Toast Box are always a pick me up with amazing milk teas and a filling chicken curry rice! Afternoons are a great time to drop in to Kinokuniya an extremely well-organized book store with amazing range of titles! (I know Payal thinks Powell’s at Portland is the greatest!) Ben and Jerrys is just around the corner and walking down Orchard is a delight any time of the day! The side hidden streets have so much to offer from impromptu performances, to book readings and an enchanting musical performance at Theatres on the Bay!

When evening comes it brings the beach and the laid back Myra’s. And what better way to close the day then with a creme brulee from awfully chocolate! Now that’s what I call a Singapore day!
